1. It All Starts With the Draft
Shake hands with none other than the Commissioner of the NBA, Adam Silver. He’ll give you official notice you have joined your team of choice. The countdown is on, smile big, Memory Maker will capture this moment!
2. Combine – How Do You Measure Up?
Here follow the prompts while you jump high, shoot for accuracy and check out your wing span. All these stats are entered into the computer to calculate your strengths and let you know how you measure up against the pros. If you have purchased PhotoPass, you can download these stat pics for free!
3. Shoot! Beat the Clock
The countdown is on, get ready, set, shoot! How many shots can you get in just 45 seconds. Try to beat your last record or play against those around you. The virtual crowd is there to cheer you on!
4. Dunk! Can You Do It?
60 seconds and go..dunk away and see how you match up with the pros.
5. Measuring Up
While not an official one of the activities, we loved this section. You can put your hand on the imprints of greats to see who you are like. Step on their shoes to compare sizes and check out the wall to see who is the same height as you!
6. The Arcade
Try your hand on some great videogames. Single or dual player with the NBA 2K playground. Want the real thing? Start shooting.
This is certainly a twist. In this boardwalk style playoff use a slingshot to get the ball in the hoop. Aim carefully as a little to the left or right, gives your opponent a point. You definitely have to get your whole body behind this fun. Practice, practice and a few laughs are key to winning
Play some half court ball and dunk. Be careful, the pressure is on with the bleacher filled with virtual spectators and the crowd going wild.
Follow along and get tips from the pros. Practice, practice practice and your soon you’ll have game. Skills are for the novice up to advanced!
Compete against others and stretch your brain. Give it your all as you share your knowledge of basketball past and present
11. At the Movies
Take in one of two classics basketball films. Game Time – a story about the impact of going to an NBA game can have on a child and Together – the Jrue Holiday Family Story.
12. Meet the Players
This room is really awesome. See the highlights from all the NBA and WNBA teams. Everything from Jerseys to Sneakers and their favorite personal items in the locker room.
13. Trophy Time
After a day of hustling and giving it your all, it’s time to bask in the glory. Memory Maker will capture you holding the trophy up high.
For the best experience, we recommend sneakers and comfy clothes..it’s a real workout. Part of our fun was never waiting in line. While this seems like a great activity for a rainy day, you won’t be the only one to think that way, so you may experience crowds. Talk to a specialist at EZ Dis for recommendations in working this perfectly into your vacation plans.
The day is over and you are the true MVP. Best part of the day, take home all your memories. Admission includes free downloadable photos in your My Disney Experience account of the day’s highlights and your stats! If you’ve visited the NBA Experience tell us what you thought!
