An amazing restaurant located on the 10th floor with skyline views! It has an incredible character breakfast with unique costumes and a great dinner with most tables having a Hollywood Studios fireworks. There are also indoor and an outdoor bars with the outdoor bar boasting great views of the property, the fireworks at Hollywood Studios and Epcot plus the sky gondolas. We also love a character breakfasts that is not a buffet. It’s a nice treat not to constantly be up and down with the little ones. Topolino’s design may remind you of Disney Cruise Line and the muffin basket for breakfast definitely takes us back to Animators Palate.
Pro Tip: they are happy to box any of the extra pastry for you to enjoy later in the day, since they can not re-serve anything that has been on the table. (For Gluten Free guests, it’s an awesome Udi’s selection)
Variety of Rooms
Riviera offers five different size rooms! Deluxe studios and one bedroom villas which can accommodate five guests, two bedroom villas accommodating nine guests and incredible three bedroom grand villas sleeping up to twelve! This is also the first resort to offer a tower studio, these very limited rooms accommodate just two guests. Check out how spacious both the studio and 1 bedroom are!
Who doesn’t love a good hidden Mickey hunt? Here you’ll find them both on the carpet and on many of the balcony railings as we’ll as a few other locations around the resort.
What’s better than a hidden Mickey? Disney’s Riviera resort is the first resort to post a hidden Minnie. Look carefully and you’ll see her bow. A great fun new way to explore.
Kids Splash Area
This wonderful section boats a slide, water splash pads, water guns and more all in just inches of water. Perfect for the little ones. It’s whimsical characters come from Fantasia. With this area fenced off from the main pool, the kids are free to roam.
Not only do they have poolside movies like other resorts, you can enjoy life size chess, Baci and more. Relax and enjoy one of the beautiful bench swings or sit around the fire pit.
La Petit Cafe
In addition to sit down dining at Topolino’s Terrace and quick service dining Primo Piatto, La Petit Cafe is welcoming for quick coffee and incredible pastry treats to make you feel like you are truly on the European Riviera. Take on the go or sit in the Voyager Lounge next door for some real solace.
There is incredible detail around every corner in this resort. Be at the main hallway heading to the elevators with all of the pictures of Walt and his family on vacation to the incredible mosaics on your way to the sky gondola, there is just so much to see. Currently, there is even a scavenger hunt available from the DVC desk to see all of the art on property and get a bonus souvenir. ( limited time, while supplies last)
We’re simply in love with the ease of the sky gondola. No folding strollers, just hop aboard. A few minutes and you’re at the International Gateway to head into Epcot or a visit over to the Boardwalk. If Hollywood Studios is your destination, one quick stop at the Caribbean Beach station and a switch of gondolas and you’re there! If you’re headed to Magic Kingdom or Animal Kingdom the bus is a single stop on property with monitors showing the next bus arrival time. Riviera is centrally located on property making it a quick ride anywhere.
