Call him Captain America or maybe you love to call him Steve Rogers, either way, you will love this Marvel Avenger Puppet!
List of Supplies:
- Colored craft papers
- Craft glue
- Sharpie
- Pencil
- Scissors
Instructions:
Step 1:
Select a colored craft paper for the skin tone of the Captain America puppet and then select red, white and blue colored craft papers for the rest of the patterns. Trace the body base, arms, mask and the smallest round shape of the shield pattern on blue colored craft paper; trace the belt, mask wings, A, stars, and the 2nd largest round shape of the shield on white paper; and trace the belt strips, gloves, shoes, largest and the 3rd largest round shape of the shield pattern on red colored craft paper. Cut out the traced patterns using scissors.
Step 2:
Glue the red strips on the belt base, glue the wing cutouts on both sides of the mask base and the ‘A’ in the top middle part of the mask. Glue the glove cutouts with the arm cutouts, the shoe cutouts on the bottom ends of the body base pattern; and glue the shield patterns together by placing the small round shapes in the middle of the large round shapes.
Step 3:
Attach the mask on the top side of the head cutout; attach the belt along the middle part of the body base pattern; and attach the shield pattern cutouts together to complete the paper shield craft.
Step 4:
Attach the small star cutout on the top side of the body base pattern and attach the eye cutouts slightly above the bottom side of the mask pattern.
Step 5:
Attach the arm patterns on both sides of the body base pattern.
Step 6:
Attach the head on the top side of the body base pattern.
Step 7:
Use a sharpie to draw the nose and mouth of the Captain America papercraft puppet and attach the papercraft shield with a hand to complete the craft.
Consider placing on wooden stick to create a puppet. We love these extra long easy grip ones (#afflink)
