This experience has no height requirement and takes about 20 minutes, though animals always have the right of way, which could delay your trek on these 100 acres.. During your ride, you can look above your head to see a chart that helps your homeschoolers identify the various African wildlife species they’ll witness.

Up! A Great Bird Adventure

This is a stage show where your kids can get learn about 16 variety of birds while also seeing Russel & Dug from the movie UP. See toucans, macaws, parrots and even an African fish eagle with a wingspan of 7 feet! This great bird adventure takes place in Asia at the remains of the sanctuary left from the Maharajah’s rule of Anandapur.

Discovery Island Trails

Take a stroll along the paths that feature many walking trails for your homeschoolers. Since this is a less popular part of Animal Kingdom, you can use the Tree of Life paths for a little break from the crowds in other areas of the theme park. Along the way, you will find great habitats and informational signs about White Stork, Vultures, Porcupine and Galapagos Tortoises to name a few.

This educational series is perfect for homeschoolers to learn more as well as experience certain areas of Animal Kingdom you may not have without taking part in the Wilderness Explorer option. Your homeschoolers will receive a map with 31 different badges they can earn as they complete various educational activities throughout Animal Kingdom. Learn about animal habitats. animal care, conservation, fossils and so much more!

Na’vi River Journey

Encourage your homeschoolers’ sense of wonder with the Na’vi River Journey at Animal Kingdom. You’ll travel on a boat for a ride through Pandora’s bioluminescent rainforest. With music and sights galore, you’ll be emerged into the rainforest and feel nothing but positive energy as your imagination expands.

Conservation Station

Board the Wildlife Express and off you go on this 6 minute ride from Harambe Station to Conservation Station. Here you will visit Rafiki’s Planet Watch to learn about animal care, have a visit in the petting zoo and even add in an art lesson with a drawing class!

Kali River Rapids

Enjoy a family raft ride as your homeschoolers experience the rapid waters of the Chakrandi River. With scenes that feature what illegal logging does to our lands and a jungle landscape in another section, this ride is a little over 4 minutes long and open for children that are at least 38 inches tall.

Bollywood Beats

It’s time for a cultural stop. Be engrossed in the beauty of Bollywood dancing in this great show. Learn about the music and the different style of this engaging dance.

DinoLand, USA

Take your homeschoolers on a trip back in time in DinoLand, USA at Animal Kingdom. Your homeschoolers will be welcomed by a 50-foot tall skeleton of a Brachiosaurus. With fossils that your kids can unearth and other ancient scenes, DinoLand, USA will offer your homeschoolers a chance for hands-on learning about a time before human beings roamed Earth.

Disney’s Asia

Enjoy everything Asia at Disney’s Asia in Animal Kingdom. This experience will allow your homeschoolers to immerge themselves in Asian culture, history, and landscape. This attraction is full of fun geography lessons with activities, rides, and entertainment galore.

Disney’s Africa

Much like Disney’s Asia, you can be immersed in the history, culture, and ways of life for African people. Disney’s Africa in Animal Kingdom features replicas of structures that were originally found in Kenya among many activities and rides to let your homeschoolers learn more about Africa.
