There are many life lessons from Disney princesses everyone can learn. Today I’m going to focus on some life lessons that Disney princesses can teach our girls. From Tiana to Rapunzel and even Cinderella, each of the Disney princesses that are featured in Disney films will provide your daughters and granddaughters with some valuable life lessons they can take with them for the rest of their life.
Life Lesson 1: Don’t Waste Any Time & Work For Something You Want
Cinderella is a Disney princess who teaches our girls to not waste any time. During the film Cinderella you’ll see that she’s given a task to complete her chores before she can go to the ball. Cinderella completes her chores and then learns that she’ll have a chance to go to the ball. The time at the ball is limited so this Disney princess has to make the most of the time she has at this elegant ball. This is a Disney princess that teaches our girls a couple of life lessons; don’t waste any time and work for something you want.
Life Lesson 2: Be Open to Making New Friends
We don’t always look like our friends nor sound like our friends yet we’re still really good friends! This life lesson of being open to making new friends who may be different than us is taught to our girls by the Disney princess Snow White. During the film, Snow White encounters the 7 dwarfs who are anything but common, and yet they somehow form a bond of friendship that’s more loyal than most. Snow White helps our girls learn that we should always open our arms to welcome new friends.
Life Lesson 3: Stand up For Yourself
Next on my list of Disney princesses who know how to each a good life lesson is Belle from Beauty and the Beast. This strong and confident Disney princess knows what she wants and what she likes. Belle doesn’t back down to Gaston who wants her to be a certain way nor does she allow The Beast to treat her like a prisoner. Belle shows our girls how to stand up for themselves regardless of how often you may doubt your willpower or strength.
Life Lesson 4: Dare to Dream
Since Princess Tiana didn’t start off as royalty in The Princess and the Frog, it’s silly to think that she could ever become royalty. Tiana didn’t let the world tell her what she could or couldn’t be. With a lot of hard work, focus and dedication Tiana remained focus on her goal to start a restaurant and do big things so that she could make something of herself regardless of what anyone else said.
Life Lesson 5: Get out of Your Comfort Zone
For most of us adults, we know that getting outside of our comfort zone truly helps us expand our experiences. Princess Rapunzel helps our girls see just what can happen when you get out of your comfort zone. Rapunzel was held captive most of her life, but she still put on that brave face to explore the outside world so that she could go outside her comfort zone and see what the world could offer her.
Each of these Disney princesses teaches our girls valuable life lessons. Each life lesson taught by each Disney princess will help inspire our girls to live a fulfilling, confident, and daring life of their own.
