There are so many at to find Disney’s most beloved mouse, Mickey Mouse, at Walt Disney World. He certainly draws long lines that await to meet him. You’d think you were meeting a superstar, and to your kids, you are. While you definitely don’t want to miss this opportunity for your children, your mind may drift towards the thought of how much more you would enjoy being on a great ride.
We’ll show you how to minimize wait times with these character meals or fastpass opportunities. Many of these opportunities have a PhotoPass photographer, so take advantage of these awesome pics! Here’s where you can find Mickey Mouse at Disney World.
Town Square Theatre
This is one of the most popular places to meet Mickey, so expect long lines at times. You’ll meet Mickey in his dressing room for an intimate setting. If you really want to meet him but don’t want to wait for an hour, using a Fastpass+ is a great idea. Just be aware, if you’ve visited this Mickey in the past, you’ll notice that he has gone silent recently.
Inside The Land Pavilion you can find this unique revolving restaurant. Here Farmer Mickey and Friends will greet you for all three meals a day! Meals typically include produce grown right downstairs at Living With The Land. We especially love the cinnamon buns at breakfast!
Red Carpet Dreams
If you’ve seen Mickey Mouse in action in the movie Fantasia, then you’ll recognize Sorcerer Mickey, where you’ll find him at the Red Carpet Dreams in Hollywood Studios. Minnie is also at this location, dressed in a gorgeous throwback Hollywood-style dress. You have the opportunity to meet them between the hours of 9 a.m to 8 p.m.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Ready to head off on safari? Mickey and Minnie sure are. One think we love about this meet and greet in addition to their adorable outfits, is you can get FastPass to save time! You can also meet them at Tusker House for character breakfast, lunch or dinner!
Disney’s Riviera Resort
There is so much to love about this character breakfast at Riviera Resort! First, the latest addition to Mickey’s wardrobe is awesome! Second, it’s not in a park, making it great for a final morning breakfast (since you won’t need park admission), if you have an early afternoon departure. Last but probably most important, this is a meal mom can enjoy too – it’s a menu not a buffet!
Disney’s Contemporary Resort
At Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Chef Mickey’s is a character dining restaurant that you’ll find across from the entrance to the Magic Kingdom. At Chef Mickey’s, your family will enjoy breakfast or brunch that’s on their hot breakfast bar.
Even if your children are picky eaters, Chef Mickey’s has all their favorite breakfast foods (they’ll love the Mickey Mouse shaped waffles). Then Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald, Daisy, and Pluto will come right up to your table for a personal moment with your children.
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort
Another great place to grab breakfast at Disney is at Ohana, located at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. The breakfast is very good, with American classics as well as Polynesian dishes that are tasty. The best part of the meal is when Hawaiian Mickey, along with Lilo, and Stitch make their way around the tables.
Mickey Mouse has captured the hearts and imagination of children for over 90 years, so it’s no wonder that kids want to meet him. At these locations, not only will you find Mickey but also several characters that your children love as well.
These are just a few of the chances to meet the Big Cheese. Did you know Mickey’s wardrobe contains almost 200 outfits? Check out our gallery to see some of them (or contact us to add your photo if you have something unique!)
